Everybody, say Hi!!! to Baby Brother Bear: Musky Joe's Resort's new mascot!!!

Good morning, All!!!  My name is Bear, I turned 3 WEEKS OLD yesterday!!!  I'm a big boy now: I can walk, my eyes are open, and today .. today I even ate real canned puppy food.  That was awesome!!!  (And got EVERYWHERE .. HaHa!!!)

Where to begin, hmmm ... Mom and Dad named me Bear for a couple of reasons.  Two winters back they both lost people INCREDIBLY important to them.  Mom lost her Grandpa, the grand-patriach of Musky Joe's Twin Pines Resort (and he LOVED BEARS.  Many years back four little baby bear cubs were orphaned out on the Chippwa Flowage.  Grandma couldn't bear (haha get it, bear) to see them starve, so she adopted them.  You can find Grandpa's photographs of the bear family in all the cabins and up at the lodge.  Shortly after Grandpa passed on, Dad lost his step-dad, nicknamed Bear.  Grandpa Bear was one of the most important people in Dad's life, he and Dad's Mom always had Dad's back.)  So here I am with one heck of a name and legacy to live up to.

I love lots of attention.  You can say, I'm kind of a diva.  That's why I get my own blog spot ;).  Mom likes to call me Baby Brother Bear (she's a little weird, and for some reason, it really embarrasses my sister Melody.)  Mom also likes to call me handsome, sweetie, big chunky pudgy love (I really think Mom needs to get out more.)

I'm really looking forward to growing up on a resort, small town life in Hayward, WI, swimming and running for days.  It's going to be greeaaatttt!!!  ​I really hope to meet you all this summer.
