For most people, taking a vacation is a BIG investment. There are so many things to think of: filing for time off, where to go, what specific spots meet your needs (and budget), whether to stay at a hotel / motel, private home, or a resort. Research, research, research. Myself personally, I am hard pressed to do anything without a plan. I work too hard for my dollars and have too many people relying on me to NOT make the right choice. So you've scoured the internet for just the right place to go, and decided that the Chippewa Flowage in Hayward, WI is THEE place to be. Fantastic!!! I agree, the Chippewa Flowage has a lot to offer in the spring to fall months (if I had a snowmobile I think I would be more agreeable to the winter months ... haha!) The fishing, the boating, the peaceful isolation, the sheer beauty of the Flowage makes it a one of a kind destination. Speaking of fishing, the Flowage has a diverse variety of fish to catch. Panfish, bluegills, and perch are my favorite. They’re so easy and fun to catch. A small jig, a slip bobber, and some worms are all you need. For the more patient anglers: there are bass, walleye, northern, and the most coveted, MUSKY (as a good friend and customer says: Musky! Everything else is just bait.)
As to Hayward, WI, in what other town can you enter a Musky's butt and end up overlooking the entire town??? All joking aside, we have a pretty special little town: Musky Fest, Cranberry Fest, Fall Fest, County Fair, Honor the Earth Pow-Wow, fishing tournaments, miles and miles of wild land, and lakes loaded with fish ripe for catching. Also, did you know we are only a stone’s throw away from miles and miles of biking, hiking, (and in the winter … shudder) cross country ski trails??? All that aside, now you have other questions. Where should you stay??!! How to book your stay???!!! What is the meaning of life????!!!! I can't help you with that last one, but I can tell you our resort (Musky Joe’s Twin Pines Resort) just might be the answer. Personal prejudice aside, our little resort is in its own rights a little slice of heaven. As you meander down to the end of the road (the road gets narrower and more rustic), and then BAM!!! There you are, paradise! Our grounds are set up in a wide open park-like way, our cabins are just far enough apart to give you a little privacy, the view of the bay is spectacular, we have 40 acres of undeveloped land with trails for hiking, our cabins are modern and comfortable, yet old school. A fun place to play, relax, and enjoy the lake. You can catch all of the different types of fish the Flowage has to offer right off of our docks. Now, how do you book your stay? Let me help you with that. We have for easy ways, use whichever one works best for you: 1.) Old school making a phone call:
2.) E-mail:
3.) VRBO:
4.) Set-Up An Appointment And Come See Us:
Not quite ready to make your reservation? That’s okay, we’re happy to help answer any questions you might have. We aim to please, and are ready to help you create the most memorable vacation ever! Have a happy Friday All!!! The Musky Joe’s Twin Pines Resort Crew looks forward to meeting each and everyone of you.
